In a mad spate of procrastination I've decided to take to blogging again. It's been 1.5 years since my last post. That is unless you include the spammer who realized (in a teensy tiny little bit of a security oversight) that all authenticated users on my blog were allowed to write entire blog posts and publish them to the front page. He kindly updated my blog on my behalf and provided everyone with some costume jewellery tips.
My absence from blogging hasn't been due to the fact that I've been too busy to write about things, but mostly that my life has just become a bore. However, if there's one thing I know about blogging, it's that one man's boring content is another's way to procrastinate doing Real Work.
So, what's happened in the past year and half anyway? I've gotten married (again -- to the same person), did a motorcycle trip through Vietnam with Leslie, went on a honeymoon to Turkey, started a new startup in South Africa (which I'll hopefully have time to write more about in the near future), spent a couple weeks in a small French village with my family, started drinking coffee (well espresso at least).
This past year has been very hectic work-wise so I've started to get into some new hobbies over the past few months in an attempt to break away from work-specific tasks for a bit. I've had a lot of things I want to write about, but never really finished formulating my thoughts, so I plan on turning this blog back into a bunch of random post about whatever, like it use to be before I started writing almost exclusively on travel and Drupal.
And now for a cat photo (with inspiration from Sam):
